Today was a weird day. We had nothing planned. Tomorrow we have all the things planned.
I slept in until noon. Then I got up and wrote, wrote, wrote. I wrote twelve pages, working through that crappy part I told you about yesterday. But it paid off, because at the very end of my twelve pages and the end of the chapter, I realized I'd put in a buried gun and I used the crap out of that buried gun. It was so so creepy.
Excited, I called Alex in from his chores and read the thing. It was awful, at the beginning, but then it got better. The ending paid off. And we all learned a valuable lesson in writing through the crap.
I don't know if 12 pages is a lot for one day, but I hit my goal of where I am in the story. I think I just wrote through the difficult plotting portion. So tomorrow I'll start on the battle scene.
We have so much to do in the next few months. It's all so overwhelming. I asked Alex tonight if he really wanted to move to the nicer apartment. We decided that instead of coming up with an answer, we'd watch Pokemon and listen to old Second City skits instead.
Also, this picture comes from our walk outside. Daisies! So many daisies!
