Every day that is beautiful, it's a blessing. We were supposed to have freezing cold weather about two weeks ago, and every day I step out, and every day I take off my jacket. Just yesterday, the lake looked like the picture over here to the right.
Unfortunately, this evening, that shifted.
I got home from lunch, and by the time I went out for dinner, it was winter.
Alex left this weekend, leaving me to work on cleaning the apartment and fuss over my plot some more. I also binge-watched the hell out of Aziz Ansari's new show on Netflix.
The next couple of days are about finishing my third semester project and finishing up other jobs. In a week and a half, I have another meeting with my mentor to solidify my revision plan. And of course, all of the workshop readings Kate and I need to start on.
I can't believe it's been 160 days. I can't believe it's winter. The year is going by too fast. If I was still at my old job, yesterday would have been Parent Teacher Conferences.
A quarter of the way through the school year? Already?
Here's to the new season. Let it not get too cold. Let it not be too dark too early. And let February come soon so I can go sit on a beach in the Bahamas.
What is this?
